PassLogic Authentication (Grid Authentication)

Simple Operation: Just Remember a Pattern

PassLogic Authentication (Grid Authentication)

Read numbers from a randomized grid using your own predefined pattern to generate a one-time password.
Pattern = position and sequence.

  • On the login screen, a randomized grid is displayed
  • By following your predefined pattern and reading the numbers, you can generate a one-time password
  • All you need to remember is the grid positions and sequence, enabling strong one-time password login without the worry of forgetting static passwords

Not Just Numbers! Letters and Symbols Can Also Be Used

It is also possible to add a fixed string — such as letters or symbols — before, after, or within the one-time password as an additional phrase.

Features of PassLogic

The Perfect Multi-Factor Authentication for Your Needs

Nine Authentication Methods

Supports All Three Authentication Factors : Knowledge, Possession, and Biometrics.

PassLogic Authenticator

PassLogic Authenticator is a dedicated mobile application that delivers secure and convenient authentication for PassLogic.
In addition to generating one-time passwords (OTP) that change at regular intervals, it supports PassLogic’s unique Grid Authentication display. The app also provides Login Protect and Login Protect + Biometric Authentication, keeping the app locked at all times and unlocking it only for a limited 60-second window during the login process.

Authentication Methods

PassLogic Authentication(Grid Authentication)

Provides highly secure OTP authentication without dedicated hardware tokens. It delivers strong security, exceptional usability, and lower operational costs.

Client Certificates

Supports client certificate authentication to restrict access from unauthorized PCs and smartphones. This allows organizations to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) using only a web browser.

Cookie Authentication

Features a device-binding mechanism using cookies to easily identify authorized users. It offers a highly convenient authentication method that prevents unauthorized access while minimizing hassle for the user.

Face Recognition (Web Face Recognition)

Uses a camera to scan the user’s face for identity verification. Leveraging high-precision face recognition technology, it ensures robust security and seamless convenience without requiring any complex user action.
This feature is available only in Japan. We will consider making it available outside Japan in the future.

PassLogic Authenticator: One-Time Password

Allows users to easily perform one-time password authentication using a mobile app. It eliminates the need to carry dedicated hardware devices, ensuring secure access anytime, anywhere.

PassLogic Authenticator: Bingo-Style

A unique authentication method that generates a one-time password by reading characters from a matrix grid according to a predefined pattern. It delivers strong security through intuitive and user-friendly operation.

PassLogic Authenticator: Login Protect

A feature that allows users to control when login attempts are accepted. Without the user’s explicit permission, access is denied even if the correct password is entered, effectively blocking unauthorized intrusions.

PassLogic Authenticator: Login Protect + Biometric Authentication

Enhances Login Protect by requiring the smartphone’s biometric authentication feature to unlock access, achieving the highest tier of security combined with effortless convenience.

Hardware Token

Supports one-time password authentication via physical devices. This option is ideal for environments demanding ultra-high security and can be flexibly integrated into existing operational workflows. For availability outside Japan, please contact us for details.

Cooperation Method

Single Sign-On (SSO)

PassLogic supports standard federation protocols including SAML, RADIUS, and Reverse Proxy. It seamlessly integrates with a wide range of business systems, whether hosted in the cloud or on-premise.
